Galileo Growth was founded to provide families with expert guidance as they navigate the often complex and confusing educational system. Recognizing that many students and families need more individualized support and advocacy than schools can always provide, Galileo Growth offers specialized services to help children thrive academically and confidently.

She has served as an advocate and guide for families, helping them to navigate the educational system and ensuring individuals are receiving the best possible care and education.

Avery, M.Ed.

Avery is a credentialed Multiple Subject teacher with a decade of experience supporting students across a wide range of educational settings. She holds a Master of Education degree, a Bachelor’s degree in Education, and a minor in Special Education.

Avery has worked closely with students and families as an elementary teacher, private traveling teacher, at-home preschool teacher, and through intervention in reading and math. She brings extensive experience supporting diverse learners, including students with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, behavior challenges, visual and hearing impairments, and other unique learning profiles. Avery is also skilled in collaborating with families to help advocate for their child’s individualized needs within the school system.

Known for her creative and highly personalized approach, Avery designs engaging, personalized lessons that connect academic growth with each child’s interests, strengths, and developmental needs. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she developed a research-based preschool curriculum that blended play-based learning, social-emotional development, and academic skill-building—complete with animal puppets to foster connection and joy in learning.

Avery is committed to helping students build both skill mastery and confidence. She believes that when learning feels fun and accessible, children unlock their full potential. Outside of teaching, Avery enjoys staying active and pursuing her passions in nutrition, gardening, fitness, and world history.
